Top 4 things to do in and around Christmas Meadows, Utah

Located in northeastern Utah, Christmas Meadows offers up some of the most beautiful terrain that an avid outdoor enthusiast could ask for—which is exactly why we chose it as the setting to launch the all-new Maverick Trail.

Christmas Meadows may sound as if it’s an unbelievably idyllic setting—and that’s about right! From UTV trail riding, fishing, canoeing, hiking to even helicopter tours, Christmas Meadows offers something for everyone.

For our Maverick Trail introduction, the expansive 50-inch-wide trails and the 11,000-foot Elizabeth Peak are where test drivers got to experience the amazing scenery and enjoyable terrain.

If you’re planning a trip or will be nearby, here are the top four things to check out.

Park City, Utah

40 minutes outside of Salt Lake City and an hour away from Christmas Meadows, Park City offers great food, a choice of hotels, plus mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, and nightlife of the human kind—if for some reason you get tired of the extensive OHV trails near the city. (Utah maintains a website with trail maps of the state, too.)

Tour the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest

It’s why we were there: beautiful trails for 50” trail riding that wind up 11,000 feet to Elizabeth Peak. We could say more about how fun this trail system is, but why spoil the surprise?

Bear River Lodge

More than 400 miles of ATV trails are just the start of what brings thousands to Bear River Lodge. Cabins to rent are known for being a highlight among the Uintas Mountains.

Hoonigan HQ

You know Ken Block drives a Can-Am, right? In addition to his modified Maverick X3s, it just so happens that Park City, Utah is home to the Hoonigan Headquarters. The working race shop and studio isn’t set up as a museum, but fans at least have a chance to stop in for a visit.
