Licensing for 3-wheel vehicles varies across US states and Canadian provinces. Conventional trikes have one wheel in the front and two in the rear. A reverse trike, introduced in 2007 with the first Can-Am Spyder, refers to a vehicle equipped with two wheels at the front and one in the back, making it more stable and easier to ride.
