What do I need to know about test rides at dealerships?

It couldn’t be easier. First, make an appointment with your nearest Can-Am dealer either by contacting them directly or through our online form. By making an appointment, you'll have the opportunity to work with a dealer who has extensive knowledge and experience of all our models. They’ll ensure the best conditions for you to test out the vehicle safely and securely.

When you arrive at the dealership, the dealer will show you the available models for testing and explain thoroughly how each vehicle works. It’s also not uncommon to receive a safety brief, so you know what to expect. Depending on your experience level, the dealer might offer an introduction course to help you get used to the vehicle before hitting the road.

Getting geared up for the ride

Set off for your test ride wearing thick trousers such as jeans, and closed shoes, ideally high ones that cover your ankle. If you have your own helmet, gloves and jacket, bring them along—and if you don’t, or you forget yours, don’t worry the dealer will have some spare for you to use.
