Re: Dynamic Power Steering (DPS)

Dear Can-Am Off-Road® Owner,

This notice is being sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Act, the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Act and other applicable laws. Our records indicate that you are the owner of a potentially affected vehicle.

Which models are involved?

What is the potential problem?

Some vehicles may have been delivered or repaired with a DPS that has cracks on its main shaft. Pieces may detach inside the DPS and may block gears resulting in a sudden limitation of the vehicle steering range. In some situation, the operator could loose control of the vehicle which could result in serious injuries or even death.
