What type of gas should I put in my Can-Am Off-Road vehicle?

Easy: unleaded gasoline, 91 octane. Technically, AKI (R+M)/2 octane rating of 91 (North America), or fuel with an RON octane rating of 95 (EU). Don’t use ethanol-based fuels like E85; any fuel used should contain no more than 10% ethanol.

Always use fresh gasoline; it oxidizes over time, loses octane and can damage your fuel system if improperly stored. We don’t recommend custom blends or “race gas”—stick to pump gas. Your high-performance Can-Am was not designed for lower-grade 87 octane fuels; however, they can be used in an emergency.

When refueling on level ground: turn off the engine, have everyone exit the vehicle (you, too!), remove the gas cap slowly, and only fill to the bottom of the filler neck.
