What type of gas should I put in my Can-Am Off-Road vehicle?

Easy: unleaded gasoline, 91 octane. Technically, AKI (R+M)/2 octane rating of 91 (North America), or fuel with an RON octane rating of 95 (EU). Don’t use ethanol-based fuels like E85; any fuel used should contain no more than 10% ethanol Always use fresh gasoline; it oxidizes over time, loses octane and can damage your fuel system if improperly stored. We don’t recommend custom blends or “race gas”—stick to pump gas. Your high-performance Can-Am was not designed for lower-grade 87 octane fuels; however, they can be used in an emergency. When refueling on level ground: turn off the engine, have everyone exit the vehicle (you, too!), remove the gas cap slowly, and only fill to the bottom of the filler neck. If you want more detail about the exact specifications of your Can-Am fuel system, browse your printed Operator Guide or visit our online Operator Guide library. Storing your Can-Am? Add XPS Fuel Stabilizer to the tank, available online or at your dealer.
