How to Use BRP GO! Navigation on the Can-Am Off-Road 10.25″ Touchscreen Display

Stay on track for more fun off-road. The new 10.25″ touchscreen display is packed with exclusive technology to level up your riding experiences. When you connect the app to the display, you can record your rides, get turn-by-turn directions, keep track of your riding crew in real time on the map, and more. Here’s a quick guide to using this awesome GPS technology on your next Can-Am Off-Road adventures.

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE BRP GO! APP

Download the BRP GO! app on your mobile device. It’s available for free on the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android).

STEP 2: PLAN YOUR RIDES, ADD YOUR FRIENDS, AND DOWNLOAD YOUR MAPS

Open the app on your mobile device, select the “Off-Road” playground and access the “Navigation” section. From there, you can see the map with official maps and points of interest, plan your next adventures, add friends to see them on the map, and a lot more. Be sure to note that a few of those features (planning rides, adding friends, and downloading areas for offline use) can only be used from the phone (and not on the vehicle display), so plan ahead!

STEP 3: CONNECT YOUR PHONE TO YOUR VEHICLE DISPLAY

To show the navigation on your Can-Am vehicle 10.25″ display, open the Applet menu on your vehicle’s screen and select the Navigation app. Then, connect your mobile device to your vehicle with a USB cable via the USB port located in the glovebox. Note: no Bluetooth connection is needed.

Unlock your device screen, open the BRP GO! app and, once connected, store your phone in the designated compartment. You can use your vehicle’s display to operate the Navigation applet from here.

If you experience connectivity issues, make sure that:

  • you are using a good-quality USB cable,
  • the cable charging port is clean, and
  • you have accepted all app permissions on your device (especially the “Appear on top”, ''Nearby devices'' and ''Phone'' permissions on Android devices).

STEP 4: ENJOY THE NAVIGATION FEATURES ON YOUR LARGE TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY

Chasing thrills is closer than ever! You can now navigate through the interface using either the touchscreen or the left-hand control module. You can easily zoom in and out, recenter the map, start tracking new rides and more.

Here is a quick overview of what’s available when your BRP GO! app is connected to the 10.25″ touchscreen display:

Rides: You’ll find a list of upcoming rides you’ve planned and saved on the mobile app. Select your ride of choice and start it whenever you’re ready. Turn-by-turn indications will be clearly displayed on the screen to keep you on track. You’ll also see any friends you’ve added to a group ride displayed on the screen if they’re also using BRP GO!.

Points of Interest: Here you’ll find service locations (such as gas stations and BRP dealerships), restaurants, accommodations and your custom places previously saved on the mobile app. You can select any point of interest as a destination and get turn-by-turn navigation to reach it. Note: the vehicle must be stopped to access this menu.

Settings: You can select your preferred units of measurement (miles or kilometers). Note: you can also change the appearance of your display (dark/light) in the gauge’s “Quick Preferences” menu.

GO! Mode: This mode allows you to record your ride without having a planned route. Use it to explore new areas and track your progress! Once your ride is complete, you can review your route and all your stats like average speed, distance traveled and more in your mobile app.
