Do you need a license to ride a Can-Am 3-wheel vehicle?

Wondering if you are you legal to ride a three-wheel motorcycle in your area? Or how do you become legal to do so?

The exact license requirements differ from state to state and province to province. In some areas all you need is a standard driver’s license, where in others a motorcycle license is required. Now many areas have three-wheel specific certifications which makes it even easier to become legal to ride!

Since the Can-Am Spyder and the Can-Am Ryker are such unique machines, BRP has created a specific training program called “Rider Education Program 101” that will show you everything you need to know to hit the ground running, safely and well informed.

You will find answers to all of your questions, like what licensing requirements are, how you get certified in your area to be legal to ride a three-wheel motorcycle, where you can take the course, how long is the course, and more.
