Always wear a helmet when driving, riding, or as a passenger. In other words: always wear a helmet. Why are we so hung up on this detail? It saves lives.
Choose a helmet with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)-compliant markings and be free from visible cracks, deep gashes, or signs of abuse. This ensures the helmet has been made to a high standard and will provide adequate protection if needed.
Even if your local laws don’t require a helmet, we still recommend wearing them. Your safety is definitely part of it, but longtime off-roaders will agree that helmets give more comfort, too. Worry less about the sun, sand, pebbles, and debris—worry about how cool you’ll look with "helmet hair".
If you’re riding with Can-Am, you’re riding with a helmet on.
